What I'm Looking Forward To This Term

This term I'm looking forward to when the year 8 leave to camp because when they leave I'll have a bigger Chance to step up. I'll also like forward to be going Rainbow's End, because It'll be my first time going and I'll also get to try the new rides that they have. 

My Holiday

In the holidays Me and my family went to this park at Manurewa. At the park there were a lot of people with there family's playing at the skate park. At the skate park I played on my on my cousin skate bored. At the end of the day we all sat down and ate our food. What I liked about that day was when we ate the food because it was nice.  

Solve Word Problems

This week we have been looking at word problems. In this there are fractions, Percents and Decimals. 

Independent and Dependent Clauses

Our WALT for this slide is  Identify independent and dependent clauses

                    - Identify the subject and a predicate of a clause
                    - Identify the features of complex sentences

This is an google slide about the two different clauses which are Independent and Dependent Clauses. I've learnt that Independent clauses can stand alone and that Dependent clauses need to have more information about that piece of writing.

What A Disaster

This is a google slide about the oil spill that happened in 2012 at Motiti Island. The spill happened because the ship had to much wight on it which made the ship tip over.
