Compound Sentences


Try to write 3 compound sentences on your own using the connectives in the box above to connect two complete thoughts.

1. I went shopping and I got some pies.

2.I went to my aunt's house to stay so I got some things to eat on the way home.


3.As I was walking I saw a dead cat but when I looked back it was gone.
