Benefits of physical exercise

Physical exercise. Physical exercise is the performance of some activity to develop or maintain good fitness and overall health levels. Keep reading to find out more.

The first reason why we should benefit physical exercise, is so we can avoid get cardiovascular disease. The best way of avoiding cardiovascular disease is by doing briefly exercises for around 20 to 30 minutes which could help keep your heart pumping normally.

The second reason why we should benefit physical exercise, is so you can lose a lot of weight. One way of losing weight is by participating in sports and eating the right things that can keep you in shape.  

The last reason why we should benefit physical exercise, is so you can increase in your brain knowledge, because the more your brain knowledge increases the more you remember the things you need to do.

So there you have it, three great reasons for why you should benefit physical exercise. Hopefully you take same of these reason.

How can we save money?

How can we save money?

People around the world are losing thousand of dollars, but what can we do to help people save money? Here are some ways to save.

One way to save money is to make you gift don’t buy them. The reason why you shouldn’t buy gift is because some kids when they have secret santa they want to buy something cool for there secret santa so they ask their parents to buy things that are so expensive so than their parents won’t have money for there own secret santa.   

Another way to save money is to use less power. Why I think you should use less power is so that when you have only enough money for food you should only use the power for when you it’s night time and sleep before 8.00pm so that you can have more power for tomorrow.

Finally the last why to save money is to buy what you need not what you want. Why I think you should buy what you need not get what you want is because if you buy what you you want like chocolate you kids might ask you to buy them a chocolate and more stuff you will end up using all your money in one shop and not have money left for the important things you were supposed to buy.

Hopefully you use these interesting and easy whys the next time you your dealing with money.

The Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man

Once upon a time, there were a little old woman and a little old man who lived in a big Mansion. The little old woman and the little old man were hungry, so the little old woman decided to bake a gingerbread man.

As the Gingerbread Man was being baked the little old lady departed the room in a hurry, when she was gone there was something lurking around the oven then the oven door opened and the gingerbread man leaped out of the oven and went to the leftover Gingerbread dough and made a Gingerbread Lady because he was friendless and he wanted someone to love.

When he finish making the Gingerbread Lady he put her in the oven to cook. When she was done the Gingerbread Man opened the oven door and she leaped out discreetly. When she leaped out of the oven she was wearing a sugar coated as her dress and M&M’s for eyes and mouth.

As they were observing each other the little old lady walked in and saw the two Gingerbread's and fainted and the Gingerbread Man and the Gingerbread Lady absconded out the door and made a house near the lake.

Today Mr Patterson came to Pt England School to talk to all the year 7 & 8 about what we want to be in the feature and how to give then take from people. That's when he asked What do you want to be in the feature? then I was thinking and think I want to be a Sport that's plan A and plan B is to be a Layer. My favourite part about his talk A + I = M, the meaning of AIM is A is Aspiration, Aspiration is what you want to do in the feature, I is Inspiration, Inspiration is who inspires you and M is Motivation, Motivation is what Aspiration and Inspiration equals. This has inspired me to work harder in the feature and to also help people who need it.  

Niuean Language Week

Fakalofa lahi atu. Today is Niuean language week, for this special week the Niue students performed a traditional performance. As part of the there performance, the girl's did there dance then the boy did their little haka. You should one day watch a Niuean performance because it's awesome and you could learn there style. Hopefully you enjoyed this writing.

What it means to be a good role model

All around you there are role models, there could be one next to you at this very moment  Here are some ways to be a good role model.

One way to be a good role model is to be careful with the words you say in front of the little kids because if you for some reason say something bad in front of them they take those words in and start using them at school and maybe at home.

Another way to be a good role model is to pick up rubbish anywhere, even if you aren’t told to so that the creek’s and rivers aren’t polluted and they are looked after better in the future.

The last way to be a good role model is to treat others the way you want to be treated like saying nice things about them, give them help even if they don’t and ask them if they want to play with you if they're not playing with anyone.

Hopefully you take in this three different ways to be a good role model.

 Out of all the other subjects I choices Kids should get paid to go to school. After my speech I had to make a speech reflection about why we kids should get paid. Hopefully you enjoy these videos.

Is it worth getting paid as a kid??? To me I think it’s worth it.

My first reason why we should get paid is because the teacher a boring and they sometimes make us so sleepy.

My second reason why we should get paid cause some kids don’t have car’s to get to school in raining days so they have to walk to school in the cold.

My last reason we should get paid cause our present don’t earn that much money at their jobs they do.

So there you have it I’ve stated why kids should get paid. I stated them throw my three points. I hope you agree with me.

My Recount

Have any year 8's from your  left to a camp well our's have, this is my writing about last week and what we did. I hope you enjoy this.

Simple, Compounded and Complex's

There was a boy name Jack. He had a lot of friends, he also got everything he ever wanted to have like a bike, Xbox and PS 4 but he didn't enjoy having everything.

One day Jack saw a boy playing on the playground by himself and asked little kids if they need a push on the swing. when Jack saw him by himself he asked if he wanted to play with them but he said nothing and walked away . As the boy walked home Jack was following him to his house. When the boy got in his house Jack knocked on the door.  He waited for the door to open. When it opened Jack walked in without seeing if anyone was inside. When Jack got into the living room the boy hit Jack with his bat then ran out there back door.

This is my writing about simple, Compounded and complex sentences. In this writing I wrote about a boy name Jack how had everything he wanted but was the only kid and never had his cousin come to his house but he also had a lot of friends. Simple is green, Compounded is Blue and Complex is Red.  

Independent and Dependent Clauses

This is an google slide about the two different clauses which are Independent and Dependent Clauses. I've learnt that Independent clauses can stand alone and that Dependent clauses need to have more information about that piece of writing.  

The Prince of Popland

The Prince of Popland

Once upon a time there were two selfish boys. They lived in a place called Popland with was near New york. They both lived in a castle called Prince Palace, there names were Johnny and Jonah.

One day Johnny decided to run away because he didn't want to fight his brother Jonah to be the new king of Popland. As Johnny was  packing his bag to leave his father walked past and told him not to leave because he will beat Jonah and will also become the king but Johnny just walked past his dad and gave him a kiss and said “Forgive me” and left.

After a few year Jonah became the king the king. When Jonah father finished putting the crone on Jonah’s head he said “ As your king you must give me something and I’ll give you a place in my castle, and if not you will live in your smelling and trouble house you live in know” in a anger voice.

As Jonah’s father Named James walked into Jonah’s brother’s room he noticed that there were picture of animals and people running around having fun, he also noticed that they have names on the paper the first name was New Zealand, Africa, Malaysia, Japan, America and more. Well James was looking at all the pictures he decided to go and get his son.  

After packing all his clothes he waited for the morning to tell the people in the village That he is leaving. When it was morning the people come to the castle to hear the notice and the James said “ I’m leaving to go and find my son. I know he's out there and I’ll bring him back” everyone was happy but Jonah he was anger so he Said to the man who was going with his dad “ Make sure you kill him or your died instead” in a anger voice.

One reason why the Library is my special place is because in the Library it’s quiet and there’s free wi-fi. Also is my special place because there are a lot of books that I have never read before and that are new to me.  

Another reason why my special place in this is Library because they have computer that we can use to do our homework or other thing we use the intronet. Also inside the ladies behind the desk are nice to you when you walk into the Library.

The last reason why my special place is Library because when I read the books I get lost into my imagines and think I’m in the story or I think I’m sleeping. It also helps me get butter in my reading.

As you can see this is my writing test writing about my Special Place in the community. The first piece of writing is my edited writing which I have changed some of the words and moved them to different places in my writing. How to have a fun weekend

Do you ever do anything in the weekend well here are ways you could have a fun weekend.

One way you could have fun in the weekend is you could invite your friend to play some video games. The reason why this will be fun is that you are meeting someone new.

Another way to have a good weekend is to have a picnic at the park. The reason why having a Picnic in the park with your friends and family is because you can go to different parks or beach’s.

Lastly if you're going out somewhere with your friends or family and you do nothing but you should ask them if they went to play sport. It is fun because you're hanging out with your friends and family. You also getting to know them if you just meet them.

By now you would have the most funnest weekend you have every had.

Why we should drink water

Did you know that 80% to 90% of our body's are made out of water? People Need to drink a lot of, but why?

The reason why we should drink water because it help our body. It also saves us from cancer, and also gives as to eat from the sea.

Water can clean your mood when you're tired and anger. It can also clean the outside of your body when it’s dried.

Water can make your muscle stronger. Also can give you more energy to keep you hydrated and can help every part of our body’s in different ways.

Now we know why we should drink water, so keep on drinking water it can save your life.

FIAFIA 2016

Guess what?On the 7th of April 2016 our school had fiafia.At fiafia there was alot of ymmy food like cupcakes and more.I ate chop suey with rice.After everyone had there food all the student’s in Pt england had to go to there holding room.My holding room was at maker sapce Near room 18 and 17.After a few mins we had to leave our holding room’s and go to the Field.Whlie we were on the field Mr Burt told us things then the Maori group Went on the stage.After there peforeman’s my group Rock Band went on the stage.Our name was the flying wolf’s.The sing my group sang was called “Sweet Child Of Mean”.I sang the second verse of the song.After we finsh we had to take off all the instruments then we had to go and sit in our lines.What I liked about Fiafia was all the food and the Peforman’s.My favourite peformans was the tagon boys.I hope you like my blog post.  

HOOKS in Narrative Writing

DId you know that there are 452 Volcanoes in the ring of fire?  Along time ago there were two volcanoes in the Ring of Fire who were very far apart.  The man volcano was so fat and the lady was sad.
