Ambassador Application

Hi, my name is Latu and I am here to prove why I should be an ambassador so here are 3 reason why number one I would make a great ambassador because I like sharing things about our school,what we learn and how we learn Number two I have great collaborating skills am able to freely express my ideas with others and last but not least I can take in what others have come up with and make it in to something amazing.

Latu Survivors Animation

Our topic this term is PES survivors. It is about animals adapting to survivor. Our Task this term is to create an animation about an animal from the arctic which goes to the hot desert. I chose a penguin and he lives in the arctic.    

My penguin has thick skin and its colors are white, black and a little yellow and red on  the  head of my penguin.The Flippers help it swim to survive.The penguin has something white on it so it can’t get seen.    

                                                                                                                                                                         

My penguin is going to the desert. But the penguin won't survivor because he will sink into the sand so that's why I am going to make the penguins feet into a red kangaroo’s and the skin is going to yellow so no one can see him and hopefully he can survivor.

I think it is not Possible that a penguin can live in the desert because too different from the Arctic .I wish it can actually live in the desert. Thanks for watching my Animation. Good bye  

Athletics day

On friday the 13th of november Point England had athletics day. I was so happy because I was in the best team, Te Aurere. There are more colors like, Hine Moana which is for blue , Hikianalia is yellow and Hokule'a is green.The best team is Te Aurere the red team.

First we had tug of war.  We were playing against the blue team it was Hine Moana and we won it was so hard because they put the Strongest in the front was Jasmany Hopper. My heads were red.    

The next game was relay races and we came third but I had to be in blue because there were only 5 girls in team.  I asked if I could go and she said yes. When we were there we had to pass the Stuck to our team and make sure you don’t drop it.

Then it was time for the team Leaders to choose year 5 up to year 8 kids for who is running for the relay race.The teams had to try come first,second or third and we came third.Then it was home time and I was happy because I was so tired.

Egg Friend Race

On Wednesday 21st of October I came to school wondering what are we going to do. Then I saw Mr Bax’s holding a tray of eggs and I ask him what are we doing today. I also saw him with some vivids.

The first thing we had to do was get an egg. Then we get a vivid each. I drew eyes and some hair on my egg. After that I went and put my Vivid away. Then I dropped my  egg on the table and sadly I had a brain surgery.

Then I told Mr Bax that my egg had a brain surgery. And he said it’s alright you can just leave him with the other eggs while we are going to the pack.

When we got to the park we were about to start an egg race.  But sadly my friend was already died.So I did nothing.

My fav Thing about it was when my friend died and I wasn’t in the egg race.       

My Creative Writing

On Wednesday 2015 Me and some people went in a train to north land to Take photos of some animals. Then well were going I saw a sign that said wrong way but the driver was still driving. When he was driving I Jump off the train and then I was flew like a bird. But I looked up and there where birds holding me so I didn't do anything.After a min I saw some people and then the bird drop me on the ground.

Guest What ?  On the holidays me and my youth went ice skating on Week 2 of the holidays and it was at pakuranga for a family fun Night at ice skating.

Before we all what inside we had to do the family prayer.After the prayer we all what inside and we what and got our ice skating shoe.Then after that we all put on our ice skating shoe before we what for a skate. Once I got in the ice  I fell but I stood back up  and started skating to my little sister and ask her to help me skate to the other side but she said NO! I was going to hit her on the head but I didn't.

After we finish skating we all when to my Aunt’s house and watched T.V and Some of them were sleeping on the chair and some were on the bed sleeping.After all of that I saw my little sister crawling to our mum then she saw me looking at her and she got mad they came and hit me on the head but I didn’t care.

Then my Father called me to go and get the food with him.I was so happy because if I didn’t go with him I wanted have ate my sisters apple.When we come back the people  home asks what did we buy.Then my dad said we got K.F.C for dinner.When he said K.F.C I was smiling my eyes out because I harger.After that the prayer then we ate.

I like the bit when the whole family ate K.F.C and how I was falling when we were ice skating at pakuranga.Than we all want home to sleep for church on sunday.

The Amazing Trade Fair!!!

This term at school our topic is Trade and enterprise. Trade and enterprise is about creating products and selling them. Team four at my school were broken into different buisness groups.

There are 6 buisness groups. Here are their names: toys, custom stationery, kitchen, jewel and accessories, homeware and musical instruments. The group that I’m in is custom statonery.

As part of our topic we had a trade fair. A trade fair is where you order products and you get given it later on. It is similar to a market but in a market you buy the products straight away.  Only sometimes you can buy things straight away in a trade fair.

Every morning at school we always have a time to read our books and the next morning people forget witch page they were at. So my friends and I decided to sell bookmarks. In the trade fair we had heaps of customers I even lost count.

We also have a team four currency. It is not real money but you can buy real things with it. One way of keeping our money safe is by using online bank acounts. Have you ever done anything similar to this before?

The Colour for our currency are green, blue, red and white. Sometimes I call them dollars instead of pieces. I know I talled you the 1, 2, 20 and 50.

Well you don’t know There colours for the pt and pices The colour for 1pt is blue Next the colour for 2pt is green.For 50pcs is white and red is for the 20pcs

On Week 8 We have the real Market day.And they Get want they ordered to use.This is a Trade Fair is when people trade for the thing they like.I will exsplan If someone my school trades to buy three or more things.

I don’t like a Math book caver and things. If you buy three you have to ask them how much are your Math book caver.And one says “it’s 1pt Thanck you” then the two.And there names are seini and Ahu Say,”they are 2.50pt each”.

Then the person goes is that you what to see if it was you? If your anwer is yes you whatb to see yoursfle like that No.so Don’t say “YES”!!!! or you want make money to pay for the things you need for there oders and more of those oders you got from people.

The Fun Escape

It was a lovely day The sun was shining and the birds were  sing.Suddenly a plain came towards Me and same people. I run and  wanted to stop but I was so scared I will die.Then I looked back and one of the people got hit from one of the propeller.I was going to cry But I was still running.I got tired then run to the side.I was the only one who was safe.Then I want back home well they where still running from the plain.I hoped they will live.The day after they came back and my family were happy to see them.
