Mr Patterson and Raenan

Today Mr Patterson came again, he came with an other student from Tamaki College and his name is Raenan. When they came they were talking about how you have opportunities and that you should take them. My most impacting part for me is Take advantage of the opportunities you get given. This is a good thing to do because if you don't believe in yourself you can get better by taking every opportunity you get.

Considering others viewpoints

Child Tooth Decay

In this google slide it talks about how tooth decay is getting worst mostly to the kids around the world and most of the kids are 1 years to 5 year's old. Did you know 34,000 kid under 14 has teeth removed due to tooth decay or infection in 2012.  

The Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread Man

Once upon a time, there were a little old woman and a little old man who lived in a big Mansion. The little old woman and the little old man were hungry, so the little old woman decided to bake a gingerbread man.

As the Gingerbread Man was being baked the little old lady departed the room in a hurry, when she was gone there was something lurking around the oven then the oven door opened and the gingerbread man leaped out of the oven and went to the leftover Gingerbread dough and made a Gingerbread Lady because he was friendless and he wanted someone to love.

When he finish making the Gingerbread Lady he put her in the oven to cook. When she was done the Gingerbread Man opened the oven door and she leaped out discreetly. When she leaped out of the oven she was wearing a sugar coated as her dress and M&M’s for eyes and mouth.

As they were observing each other the little old lady walked in and saw the two Gingerbread's and fainted and the Gingerbread Man and the Gingerbread Lady absconded out the door and made a house near the lake.

Today Mr Patterson came to Pt England School to talk to all the year 7 & 8 about what we want to be in the feature and how to give then take from people. That's when he asked What do you want to be in the feature? then I was thinking and think I want to be a Sport that's plan A and plan B is to be a Layer. My favourite part about his talk A + I = M, the meaning of AIM is A is Aspiration, Aspiration is what you want to do in the feature, I is Inspiration, Inspiration is who inspires you and M is Motivation, Motivation is what Aspiration and Inspiration equals. This has inspired me to work harder in the feature and to also help people who need it.  

Problem

In this problem I did 7 x 34 = 238 because I did 7 x 4 = 28 and 7 x 30 = 210 so then I added 28 + 210 = 238. Hopefully you use this way to solve your problems.

Today at assembly one of the most import teacher to Pt England School is leaving and her beautiful name is Miss Vani, she has always made sure that everything and everyone was alright and always asked if you needed help.  To you only Miss Vani congratulations on finding a new job hopefully the teacher there nice to you, please visit us when you get to. Niuean Language Week

Fakalofa lahi atu. Today is Niuean language week, for this special week the Niue students performed a traditional performance. As part of the there performance, the girl's did there dance then the boy did their little haka. You should one day watch a Niuean performance because it's awesome and you could learn there style. Hopefully you enjoyed this writing.

What it means to be a good role model

All around you there are role models, there could be one next to you at this very moment  Here are some ways to be a good role model.

One way to be a good role model is to be careful with the words you say in front of the little kids because if you for some reason say something bad in front of them they take those words in and start using them at school and maybe at home.

Another way to be a good role model is to pick up rubbish anywhere, even if you aren’t told to so that the creek’s and rivers aren’t polluted and they are looked after better in the future.

The last way to be a good role model is to treat others the way you want to be treated like saying nice things about them, give them help even if they don’t and ask them if they want to play with you if they're not playing with anyone.

Hopefully you take in this three different ways to be a good role model.

Behind the Scene-Manaiakalani Movie....

Have you been to a Manaiakalani film Festival before? Well, I have, in the Manaiakalani film festival we have to finish a movie a movie to show in the Movie at Sylvia Park Hoyts. What I enjoyed about our movie is that we have finished our movie and that nearly everyone is in the movie. What I found challenging was trying to keep still when Mr. Wiseman tells us to. What I think I should do better in is standing up and being still, and if I had some ideas for our movie next year I would make everyone stand in one line and water or pudding can fell on their head. Cross Country

On Friday the 1st of September we had cross country. Before we even started cross country, our principal was telling us where we had to go and who had to do one lap and who had to do two laps.

When he finally finished the year 1 boys started their race, then it was the year 1 girls, then the year 2 boys, then the year 2 girls, after a lot of waiting it was finally the year seven girls when we went up I was nevs and also existed at the sometime .

When we ran I felt good because I could feel the braze on my sink. I could also feel the mud going throw my toes. I wasn’t really thinking about coming one of the first people, because I just didn’t want to go into zones, but I really did try my best.

When I finally finished my run I was so happy because I thought I wasn’t going to finish my race, I also thought that I was going to come last. Hopefully you enjoyed this Post.
